What is happening

Please help with the Spring cleanup of the rail trail, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 28. It's a long trail, and we can use lots of help. So we're inviting you, your friends, and other fans and users of the

NRRT to join us. The particulars are: 

Event: Nashua River Rail Trail Serve Day (In honor of DCR’s Park Serve Day, which, unfortunately, will not include the Rail Trail)

Goal: Clear debris and vegetation from as much of the trail as possible

When: Saturday, April 28, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Rain date Sunday, April 29).

Assembly point: The clock on the Rail Trail in Pepperell Center (across from Breen's Diner 170 Main St,  Pepperell, MA 01463

What to bring: Work gloves, and any of the following tools:

  •  Garden Rakes
  •  Flat shovels
  •  Pruning Saws
  •  Leaf blowers
  •  Friends, family, and persuadable passers-by.

So check your calendar, and plan to join us. We'll be providing water, directions, some teams with power equipment, and good company, and we'd love to see you on April 28.
