Nordic Walking is a type of walking that engages the entire body and can be enjoyed by everyone.  Using the body’s natural motion, Nordic Walking incorporates walking poles (similar to ski poles) into your walk.  By using poles, you will increase calorie burn by 40%; poles also add balance and stability as well as help reduce strain on joints.

This will be presented as a group activity that encourages socialization and the enjoyment of the outdoors.

Join us for an hour and a half clinic that will teach proper form and fit poles to each participant.  If there is sufficient interest, a weekly Nordic Walking group maybe established
