On February 17, 2022, the Pepperell Board of Public Works (BPW) adopted a Water & Sewer Abatement Policy. The intent of this policy is to streamline abatement requests by clarifying the criteria that are necessary to qualify for an abatement, and delegating the initial approval process to the DPW staff. Customers dissatisfied by the staff's decision may still appeal to the BPW. The policy can be found here, and the abatement form can be found here.
