Endorsement of plans for Bemis Estates subdivision: A definitive subdivision was approved by decision filed with the Town Clerk on February 4, 2016, but ownership of the land was subsequently disputed in Land Court litigation (Case No. 17 MISC 000163). By decision dated December 5, 2019, the Land Court ruled that title to the land is held by the estate of the original subdivision applicant (John J. Lorden), thereby ending the ownership dispute. The signing of the plans is for the purpose of allowing the plans to be recorded at the Registry of Deeds. Approval of the subdivision was previously granted.
