Android MDM – new council on aging program to lend out tablets to residents
The Town has acquired Android tablet devices to be used by visitors of Council on Aging as rental-type devices that can be borrowed for temporary personal use, to connect to remote classes etc.. There is a need to ensure devices are wiped of all personal information between users which is where MDM solutions may provide time-savings.
III.
GIS initiative
The Enterprise Funds (Water/Wastewater/Stormwater) have created a new position to manage their growing needs for GIS services. This position has been filled and the process began to choose and order necessary equipment.

IT Director’s review by the TA – Goals & Objectives
Town Administrator has completed the yearly review of the IT Director and specified goals and objectives for the following fiscal year.

Fall Town Meeting – potential relocation
Town Administrator has tasked the IT department to investigate necessary steps for the potential scenario of Fall Town Meeting being held at another location.

IT Office has relocated to the 2nd (top) floor of Town Hall.
