WHAT ARE WE DOING?The Town has authorized a contract to reconstruct the curbs and sidewalks at three locations in the Town. The project also includes improvements to the crosswalks to meet The American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and the installation of pedestrian activated flashing beacons at select locations.
HOW CAN I HELP?1– Understand that the schedule can and will change. This work is weather dependent and wet and cold weather will impact the schedule.2—The work cannot be completed without impacting both the pedestrian and vehicular transportation networks. We will try and make these impacts as minimal as possible.3—If you need something specific—at a time or date, let us know in advance so we can adjust the work to reduce the impacts.4—Be patient. The work will be completed, and the results will be worth the impacts.
