Weather Permitting, Concerts on the Common 

Bring a lawn chair (and bug spray), socialize with your friends and neighbors, and enjoy some great music! Summer Band Concerts are one of the things that make Townsend special!

Each week a different, local non-profit organization hosts a Lawn Party. Food, beverages, and other items are available for purchase.

Organized in 1838 Bandstand erected in 1875

The Townsend Military Band is managed by Townsend resident Betty Mae Tenney and conducted by Thomas Souza of Chelmsford
