Welcome to Pepperell’s Albert Harris Senior Center

The Albert Harris Senior Center is the heart of Pepperell’s older adult community. We proudly serve residents aged 60 and better, as well as adults with disabilities. Overseen by the Council on Aging Director and Advisory Board, our Center is more than just a gathering place. We are a vital social service agency offering connection, support, and opportunity.

We offer a wide variety of programs and services designed to enhance well-being, promote independence, and strengthen community connections, including:

  • Low cost fitness classes that help improve strength, balance, and flexibility
  • Transportation services for appointments, errands, and daily needs
  • Delicious and affordable meals served in a welcoming community setting
  • Benefits counseling and application assistance for programs such as SNAP, fuel assistance, and more
  • Support groups and crisis assistance to help during life’s challenges
  • Educational workshops and guest speakers on health, finance, and local resources
  • Social gatherings and special events that bring neighbors and friends together

Over 30 percent of Pepperell’s population are older adults, and we take pride in being the heartbeat of this vibrant community. While some may have an outdated idea of what a senior center is, we are anything but traditional. With 60 percent of our participants under the age of 80, our offerings are dynamic, engaging, and ever evolving, reflecting the active, social, and independent lives of today’s older adults.
