National Grid (NGrid) will be completing the pavement repairs on Lowell Road starting Tuesday, May 21st. It is expected that this work should be completed by 5/24, weather permitting. Construction is scheduled to be performed during normal working hours (7-4).
This is the final stage of the NGrid gas main replacement project which extended approx. 3200 feet from East St to Adams Street. The work was substantially completed during the summer of 2023, and included temporary trench repairs.
Riley Paving (NGird paving sub-contractor) will be milling and repaving the entire gas main trench running along Rte. 113 westbound, as well as all of the service laterals that cross the eastbound lane.
