[ARCHIVED] Windchill Warnings - February 3rd & 4th!

The National Weather Service is calling for severe weather Friday into Saturday with temperatures in the teens to below zero.  Additional 30+ mph winds could result in windchill numbers as low as -35 degrees.  Be prepared as a windchill can be deceiving and both hypothermia and frostbite could result.  Avoid going outside during the coldest part of the day.  If you must go out, dress appropriately even for short periods and use layers.  Wear gloves and a hat the covers your ears.  Avoid alcohol consumption.  Keep children and pets indoors.  Consider doing the same for livestock if feasible.
