[ARCHIVED] Town Election Absentee Ballots

Recently it has come to my attention that in the past the Town Clerk's Office sent out absentee ballots to residents who did not annually complete an application requesting an absentee ballot.  The Massachusetts General Law Chapter 54; Section 89 states that "No ballot shall be mailed or delivered,...Said application may request an absent voting ballot...which occurs within the calendar year in which the application is received by the City or Town Clerk or Registrars".  Therefore, I have only sent absentee ballots to registered voters who have requested an absentee ballot in the 2018 calendar year.

If you wish to receive an absentee ballot, please contact the Town Clerk, Jeanne Survell at and I'll send you an electronic application.  Given the election date of April 23rd is fast approaching, I urge you to come into the Town Clerk's Office and vote absentee since the last day to request an absentee ballot is Friday, April 20th at noon.
